Tilt spool leak issue

I've been dealing with a leak at the tilt spool forward seal on my S770, and it's been pretty bad. On top of that, the boom down pressure feels off, almost like the cylinders are binding or sticking when lowering. The float function isn't working properly either, which makes things tricky.
I'm thinking it might be a spool issue, but I wanted to check if anyone's had a similar problem or knows the best way to diagnose and fix this. Any advice on what to look for or how to tackle the repair would be really appreciated.

The boom down pressure and float issues are likely related to that same control valve, since the spools for the lift and tilt functions are in the same valve body.
When one spool is binding or leaking, it can affect the pressure and function of others.
I'd start by replacing that leaky seal and checking the spools for any scoring or debris.
The seal kit isn't too expensive, and you can get it from a Bobcat dealer.
Just be careful when you're pulling the spool out not to scratch the housing, as that'll cause a new leak!
Before you put it back together, make sure all the spools are moving freely in the bore.
If the problem persists after the repair, you might have a more significant issue, but this is the best place to start.
