Auxiliary hydraulics not working

I just bought a 2007 Bobcat 325g within the last month. last week I bought a hydraulic thumb for it. When I installed it and hooked up the hoses to the connectors on the boom I was unable to get the aux. hydraulics to engage. I pushed the button that is supposed to activate that function but no response. I checked for codes and 1 comes up. 12-2 1
